Well hello there.  This is Greg Shumake and I'd like to welcome you to my site.  I'm a California native but now reside in Jacksonville, FL.   Music is what I do and worship is how I live. 
    In this site you'll find notes from me from the road and insights that hit me as I'm out and about on the "I've Been Thinkin" page.  It's one of my favorites.  You'll also find links to some site that I believe will be an encouragement to you as well.  There's pictures of the family, friends, and events, and a song clip or two for your enjoyment!  Hope you like the music.  My itinerary is here as well, so you'll know where I am, will be, and have been.  But most of all, I hope that there will be something on this site that you can take away with you to help you as you live this thing called "life." Well, come on in and take a look around.  And I hope you enjoy the music.  The song "Autumn of Spring" is a track that I had the absolute honor to record with the incomparable Phil Keaggy on guitar, as only HE can!.  What an incredible thrill that was!  The other piece "Safe Haven" is the title cut from my first piano project available on the "Products" page.  And I've just added two cuts from my most recent project entitled. "Joyful Journey" which are "Forgetting What Lies Behind" and "The Spirit and the Bride Say, 'Come.'"  Hope you like them.  Drop me a note to tell me what ya think.
